Veterans Memorial Park Nonprofit Website and Video

This video was used to introduce the soon-to-open park to the Alexandria Chamber. Because of Covid restrictions, the Grand Opening that was originally planned for July 4, 2020, couldn’t happen. AMS created this video to showcase the park to the public. Russ Oorlog is the tour guide.

In one of his first meetings with the Veterans Memorial Park Committee, AMS Producer/Director Steve Henning coined the phrase that would become the committee’s marketing slogan, and remains today as the words that boldly proclaim the group’s mission statement: “Let No Veteran Be Forgotten.” One of the Committee members describes the agency’s role in making the vision become reality:

“AMS became emotionally involved in our project - beginning with our first interview over coffee at a local café in Alexandria, Minnesota many months ago.  Our project – the conception, visualization and construction of a $1.5 million dollar Veterans Memorial Park for our community became a national destination with the dedication of our park in 2020. Early on, AMS Digital was a virtual member of our team, using their talented expertise to guide us in all avenues of communication leading to successful outcomes in:

  •  planning our communications strategy;

  • developing a meaningful social media presence;

  • creating a website attractive to veterans, donors and visitors alike;

  • keeping our website current and alive;

  • launching an online financial tool to help us collect contributions online.

AMS’ recent closing audio video production for us was a remarkable culmination of our joint partnership that has already solidified the Veterans Memorial Park in Alexandria as a targeted destination by visitors from across this great Country.”
