Many Little Stories Help Paint the Big Picture

West Central Initiative (WCI) had a problem. Although some people were familiar with one or two of their services, very few knew of the many different ways they could help communities in west central Minnesota. 

In 2019 WCI developed a new strategic plan based on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, and chose to use Battle Lake to illustrate the wide range of services available.  Anna Wasecha, WCI Executive Director, introduces this series of videos telling the story of WCI - Battle Lake collaboration through a series of stories, each reflecting the application of a Sustainable Development Goal in meeting a community need.
